A positive experience for summer interns at Censo Biotechnologies
Students on our summer intern programme were selected from the MSc course in Regenerative Medicine (Clinical and Industrial Delivery) run by Dr Paul Travers at the Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine.
After working with us for six weeks, we are pleased to hear such encouraging comments and hope this introduction helps set them on the path for a future career in biotech.
Here are some of the highlights from our interns, during their time with Censo Biotechnologies:
“My experience at Censo Biotechnologies has been amazing. I have learnt a great deal in the short time I've been here and the lab work has been good.
The guidance that I received along with the training will hold me in good stead. Everyone at Censo is very approachable and the communication between the company is something I appreciate. So all in all, I have had a good experience here.”
“Working at Censo Biotechnologies has given me the opportunity to understand the practical aspects of gene editing and prepared me for a career in the biotech industry.”
“The highlight of my time so far at Censo Biotechnologies was probably my first glance through the microscope at iPSCs. As I've never seen mammalian cell lines before, this was a very much anticipated and exciting moment.
My internship at Censo has so far been incredibly valuable as I'm planning to undertake further research in the area of regenerative medicine, especially in respect to iPSCs culture conditions.
The top-notch training I received places great emphasis on important culture techniques that will prove to be beneficial throughout my career.”
Everyone at Censo Biotechnologies wish each of the students the very best for the future.
